Davide Cerretini is a rebellious chef who made an impact  on the entire hospitality industry in the USA with his controversial stand against the restaurant business status quo.  Always uncompromisingly true to the authentic flavors of his Tuscan roots, Chef Davide is best known for his fearless outside-the-box thinking and a uniquely funny take on life. His quest to achieve the goal of having the lowest rating ever on Yelp as a form of public protest garnered him fans all over the world and secured him the hard-earned title of 'The One Star Chef'.

 

After a 30 year career in Los Angeles and San Francisco, his exclusive, in-person classes are available in the UK for the very first time.

Davide has been to our home twice to cook for my husband's birthday. He also has catered for me as well. This year my husband requested seafood for his birthday dinner. Davide did an excellent job, the food was absolutely amazing! I lost count of the dishes but everything was so delicious. Davide's attention to detail and ingredients are impeccable! He is well organized, professional, has a great sense of humor and is a pleasure to be around. He is passionate about cooking and it shows. Authentic Italian cuisine. Don't tell Nonna but it's better than Nonna's cooking Oh, and he left my kitchen clean when he left. Thank you Davide for giving my family and I an evening we will always treasure.

It's the highlight of our week! 

I've been taking Davide’s Virtual cooking course for the past 8 months. I’ve learned to make so many incredible meals. Davide walks us through every step of the preparation and teaches us all of the tips and tricks that he learned while cooking in the kitchen with his Nonna in Italy. My whole family looks forward to Thursday nights - it’s the highlight of our week! Thanks to Davide, I’m starting to think like an Italian in the kitchen.

Chef Davide is a talented chef, to say the least. He recently catered an event at our home, and from start to finish was 100% professional and a delight to have in the kitchen. He showed up with everything he needed - knives, containers, food pre-marinated, and even a big board for making his own pasta. The food was absolutely delicious, and when he and his partner left, the kitchen was immaculate as if they had never been there. He did a great job giving a menu overview to the guests in his usual entertaining style, then faded to the background to allow the guests to socialize with each other. I would give him 10 stars if I could!! Thank you Davide!

Absolutely above and beyond expectations 

We had the great pleasure of having Davide in our home for a private dining experience along with 20 of our closest friends. It was absolutely above and beyond expectations. Amazing traditional food came in hand picked courses and paired with recommended wines. The food was prepared in front of us and through his passionate style of story telling plenty of context to go along with its history. We definitely miss having Davide and his restaurant Botto in the neighborhood!

You can relax and watch the live class, and then he gives you a download of the recording to save for later.
